Silk Café was made in collaboration with A.S* - Atelier de Santos, Arquitectura, as the exhibition space for the Architecture Triennial exhibition - Promoters Exhibition.
The first aim for this space was to hide the most its exhibit content as well as a circuit course, suggesting to visitors a labyrinth scenario where the would take the decision about the route to take. The exhibition’s space contained several sub-spaces defined by a long tissue of different transparencies, light to heavy woven silks, as hiding veils. This Installation praises the visitor’s experience to walk through mazes of tissue, revealed by apparent empty cameras drawn only with curtains designed to remind Silk Cafe project of Mies and Lily Reich.
