This is a classic wooden floor, but with an inlaid ladder. This ladder appears like it has been cut from the floor, as if they came from the same piece, like they belong to each other.
The relation between these two bodies - the floor and the ladder, characterizes the object; in which, one lives in the other’s space. Once they are both diluted in one only body, the object “ladder” gets a two-dimensional perception, letting its essence become a “passing by registration”, like the “tragic space of the dead body”.
